Jessica Gribben is the new Economic Development Liaison to the City of Shelby and Northern Richland County.
Jessica was born and raised in Richland County and is proud to call Richland County her home. Jessica graduated from Crestview High School and attended The Ohio State University Mansfield before she took a job at Richland Bank specializing in mortgage and consumer lending. She then returned to school and earned her real estate license, and for the past 3.5 years she has worked helping clients buy and sell real estate.
Jessica has always been active in her local community serving as president of the Richland Young Professionals, a volunteer for the United Way of Richland County, serving on the Chamber and Richland County Foundation boards, and a member of the RCDG leadership board. Jessica is passionate about being involved in the community. “I am so excited to be joining forces with RCDG/Richland Area Chamber, the City of Shelby, and the village of Plymouth. There are so many people that are interested in moving Shelby and northern Richland County forward. It feels like a great time to dive into economic development.”

Clint Knight is the new Director of Workforce Development with the Richland Area Chamber/RCDG. In this role he will be spearheading efforts to address the critical talent needs of businesses including helping address the skills gap, recruiting new talent to the area, and helping employers find the employees they need to be successful. This position is supported through a partnership with the Richland County Department of Job & Family Services and the Richland County Foundation.
Clint is a resident of Bellville, where he served on Village Council for 2015–2017, and Council President in 2017. Most recently, he was employed with Spherion Staffing as On-Premise Recruiting Manager and Branch Manager in Richland and Ashland Counties.
“I am excited to be in this position and eager to promote both community and economic growth in our area though talent development and attraction,” said Knight. “I believe there are great opportunities for both employees and employers and will be working to develop ideas and programs that foster growth and retention.”
Clint and his wife Carrie have 4 children, and they spend a good deal of their time at soccer, softball, basketball events. Clint is a part time musician and avid fan of Sprint Cars and college football.
