The Richland Area Chamber & Economic Development partners with our local SCORE chapter to connect entrepreneurs, businesses and nonprofit organizations with experienced volunteer mentors, all at no cost.
How SCORE Can Help
SCORE mentors can provide practical guidance on topics such as:

- Finance and budgeting

- Growth strategies
- Solving a specific business challenge

You don’t need to have a business plan, or even know where to begin. SCORE mentors will meet you where you are, help you identify your next steps and serve as a trusted resource along the way.
What to Expect
SCORE Mentoring is free and confidential. You may schedule a single appointment to discuss a specific issue or continue meeting with a mentor as your business or organization develops.
Mentoring is available to:

- Individuals exploring a business idea
A Local Partnership Supporting Local Success
The Chamber provides office space for SCORE to use as its local headquarters and mentoring location. SCORE is a partner of the Chamber but operates independently as a volunteer-led and self-funded organization. SCORE is a nonprofit resource partner of the U.S. Small Business Administration and has supported America’s small businesses through mentoring and education since 1964.
