Leadership Unlimited Program Acceptance Form

Complete this form to accept your seat in the Leadership Unlimited Class of 2027 by Friday, June 5, 2026.

Review dates and expectations before signing.

• Orientation: Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2026, from 4 to 5:00 p.m. (required, but could be made up if necessary)
• Overnight Retreat at Mohican Lodge & Conference Center: Thursday, Sept. 3, 2026, at 9 a.m. to Friday, Sept. 4, 2026, at 12 p.m. (This is the Thursday and Friday after Labor Day. Absence results in removal from the program.)
• One full weekday per month, the second Thursday, October through June from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (up to two absences permitted.)
  • 2026 Program Days: October 8, November 12, December 10
  • 2027 Program Days: January 14, February 11, March 11, April 8, May 13, June 10.
• Program Day Planning: Class members will be split into small groups to plan one of the program days. Groups decide their meetings times and cadence.
• Community Leadership Challenge Project: In your Program Day groups, you will apply leadership concepts by identifying and researching a real-world strategic issue impacting your assigned topic area (e.g., education, health, housing, workforce, economic development) and presenting a solution to key stakeholders at the end of the program.
• Charitable University: Many community leaders take steps to serve on nonprofit boards. The Ohio Attorney General created a certificate focused on board governance, required governmental filings, budgeting, fundraising. LU participants complete the Charitable University certificate by watching the recorded sections.
• Meeting Attendance: Attend a nonprofit board meeting, service club, or city/village council meeting during the program year. Submit a summary to the Director.
• Graduation celebration on June 10, 2027, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. (strongly encouraged)
