Leadership Unlimited Program Day Selection

Leadership Unlimited is a community leadership program that allows you to explore and engage in your community through tours, speakers, and activities. You will plan a program day in a group of 5-6 people.

Program day topics and subtopics are developed from your responses to the question on your LU application "Please give your opinion of three significant opportunities and/or challenges facing Richland County."

In this way, LU stays current and covers the issues you as participants care about most.

Then, select your top three program day topics below. IMPORTANT - please select the topics you are interested in learning more about and that have the LEAST connection to your daily work. In some cases your industry may cross into multiple program day topics and that's OK. The goal is to research and learn more about these community topics with your group members, not draw from your existing knowledge or talk directly about your role or organization. Also, consider what month the topic takes place and whether you are generally busy with work obligations. 

The DiSC assessment is used to help individuals understand why they communicate the way they do and how they can communicate with others more effectively. Take this short 12-question assessment and download your free report. Skip the offers to pay for upgrades. We will not be debriefing this assessment, but your report will have helpful insights for you to reflect upon. Your DiSC style will be a consideration when creating the program day groups.
