Ambassadors

This ‘welcoming committee’ for the Chamber visits new members, attends ribbon cuttings, calls on current members, and helps us serve as hosts at Chamber events.

Commitment: Meets the last Thursday monthly, member visits as time allows, and various events as able to attend.

Small Business of the Year

This group solicits nominations, selects the award recipients, and assists in planning the Small Business of the Year luncheon annually.

Commitment: Meets monthly from August – December.

Business Expo

This group leads the planning for the Chamber’s Annual Business Expo, including recruiting vendors, selecting a theme, and energizing this highly anticipated event.

Commitment: Meets twice a year

Small Business Saturday

This group helps plan, organize, and promote the annual Small Business Saturday promotion throughout the Richland County area.

Commitment: Visits as time allows during the month of November to assist in “swag” delivery to participants.

Business Advocacy

This group drafts the Legislative Agenda, reviews issues for endorsement, makes connections to elected officials, hosts the Legislative After Hours annually, and more.

Commitment: Meets 2nd Tuesday monthly, various elected official events.

Young Leaders Institute

This program offers high school sophomores an opportunity to explore their community and learn leadership lessons along the way. Students expand their own values, philosophies, and beliefs while learning alongside classmates from different schools.

Commitment: Opportunities abound for volunteers from mentors, guest speakers, field trip hosts, investors, and more!

Engage Richland

Engage Richland helps early-career professionals grow as leaders through mentorship, business tours, and a capstone project advising a nonprofit. The program includes leadership workshops and fosters networking and civic engagement.

Commitment:There are numerous opportunities for volunteers, including roles as mentors, guest speakers, field trip hosts, investors, and more!

Leadership Unlimited Advisory

he Leadership Unlimited Advisory Committee oversees the program, participants, and its future success, while supporting alumni engagement. The committee meets quarterly to discuss programming and priorities for the Foundation Manager. Interested in representing your class? Contact Angie Cirone.

Airport Day

Annual event focused on aviation and families.

Bellville Beautification

Works on beautification efforts in the Bellville area.

Bellville Arts & Culture

Works on public art, the Bellville Opera House, and other forms of arts and culture programming for the Bellville area.

Earth Stewardship

Numerous projects, such as litter cleanup, recycling, beautification, planting, etc., as part of the Earth Stewardship Celebration.

Mansfield Arts & Culture

Provides leadership to the greater arts community, advocates for artists and cultural endeavors, and pursues funding opportunities for artists to create a dynamic and thriving community.

Heart of the City Cruise-In

A highly anticipated event that attracts car enthusiasts and spectators from all around.

Mansfield Beautification

Works on projects to beautify the greater Mansfield area. This includes plantings, landscaping, clean-ups, and more.

RichHistory Alliance

A partnership of museums and historical sites in Richland County. Their mission is to collaborate to discover, preserve, and share history in Richland County, such as the Johnny Appleseed 250th Exhibit.

Richland Young Professionals

An organization of young professionals that seeks to enhance and contribute to the prosperity of the Richland County area by providing professional development and networking through educational and social programming.

Sterkel Park

Sterkel Park will be one of Ohio’s premier community parks, where residents of all ages and levels of abilities can visit and enjoy.
